Q: Is it to be or not to be Melody?-Shakespeare

A: It is not to be Melody.

You see here, I am not Melody, but one of the many family birds from Melody's family parrot nest.  And that's how I am like Melody (except for the fact that she does everything perfectly).

I'm sure Melody is pleased to see her sister-in-law for the 1st time since she flew out of her nest, and went searching for her own. :)

The significance of you post has only just dawned on me.  I mean the colours of the your flag.

That is so cool!

Greeen for faith and fertility.  That makes good sense.

White for purity, truth and peace.  I am not sure why white is widely used to signify purity.  I guess, if it is at all dirty it is not white any more so , that does make sense.

Saffron I am wondering why/how saffron is linked to courage, sacrafice and spirit :/

Can you explain that Rosala ?

Honestly I don't really like my flag, i think it's kinda dull, I never bothered to reason their colours, as a kid I thought it was just the result of the arguments of the representatives!

Haha, arguement from representatives

maybe they did get in an arguement and then some kid drew the same flag as the one today and then the arguement ended before it began and went with the kids flag

I like your flag and I like it even better now that you have explained it.

BUT tell me about the significance of saffron please.

Also, why is there a wheel in the middle?  Maybe it is not a wheel??

The Indian flag is very unique the colours give a happy vibe and the circle in the centre is special, it's something you don't see in every flag :)

It's not a compass, as much as I know it's Ashoka's chakra or something like that, I never looked up for the colours of my flag, I was always confuse did green was above orange or orange above green, but how funny,I have to look it up for a foreigner ROFLOL!

well all I believed was they all fought as took two sides of their colours while deciding the flag , when I was a kid , honestly, I didn't  knew these colours stood for something or the other .....until now!

one this I only know about my flag is that the chakra in between has 25 sticks in it....thAt also I'm not sure! How dumb!

Green has to be on the bottom because it is grass.  OR at least it is vegetation (fertility) so it belongs on the ground :))

Some of the African nations have really beautiful flags :)

India's flag is a good one, it is colourful, very distinct and easy to identify.  I have never got it muddled up with any other country.

Not like France and Netherlands.

Or Germany and Belgium.

How confusing are they!!

Flags have only been colourful pics for me that I used to store when I was bored, not a matter of concern! I thought other nations copied our design or maybe we copied theirs!

Happy India Independence Day

You did it from your phone? Quite impressive from a phone actually

I do it all the time: calculations, math formulas, picture uploads, etc., and for me its actually easy once you get the hang of it
