by vertical angles (i think that's what it is), angle 1 is congruent to angle 2, so angle 2 would also just be 50 degrees.

 

without vertical angles, we can see that angle 1 shares a straight angle with angle 3, so angle 3 would be 180 - 50 = 130 degrees. then we can also see that angle 3 shares a straight angle (180 degrees) with angle 2, so angle 2 would be 180 - 130 = 50 degrees
