1.  Definitely geometric....the common ratio  is 2

We can see this because

12/ 6   =  24 / 12  = 48/ 24   =  2  {the ratio of each successive term to the prior one is the same }

2. Fifth term of the geometric  sequence.....the common ratio is 3

So...the fith term  is  just.....  5 * (3)^5-1   =  5 * 3⁴  =   5 * 81   =  405
