This is probally one of my last struggle on questions because I ma doing a 50 question test so I am sorry if this looks alot I really appreciate your time explaining to me Cphill, Hectictar, and Hiylink and Guest and everyone else who is helping although hear is my question...

I don't get this question....

 

L *  W   =  Area

 

L *  4  =  (8 + 16x)           divide both sides by 4

 

L  =  ( 8 + 16x)             8         16x                 

        ________   =      __  +   ____     =     2 + 4x

             4                     4           4

 

So....the dimensions should be    4 *  (2 + 4x)
