Kendra has a basket containing 4 types of fruit. She has 3 times as many bananas as apples. There are 4

more pears than bananas, and 2 less lemons than apples. What is the least number of pieces of fruit that could

be in Kendra’s basket?

P.S If any of you know what test this is from please tell me it

b = 3a

p = 3a + 4

l = a - 2

Assuming she has any lemons 'a' would have to be at least 3

so 3 apples 1 lemon 13 pears 9 bananas = 26 fruits
