A region is bounded by semicircular arcs constructed on the side of a square whose sides measure 2/pi, as shown. What is the area of this region?

r=$$\frac2{2\pi}=\frac1\pi$$

c=r^2=$$\frac1{\pi^2}$$

c/2=$$\frac1{2\pi^2}$$

oops your grammer was wrong so i got confused just multiply by 4 and you get $$\frac2{\pi^2}$$

The area would be TWO complete circles' area + the area of the square

cirlcel area = pi (d/2)^2               square area = side * side

You should be able to take it from here .......
