if l x l = -3 has no solution. why?
Because it doesn't make sense the way you have it expressed. Not everything that you can dream of has a "solution".
IF l = isqrt3 it has a solution i=sqrt (-1) so l x l = -3 would be
sqrt(-1)sqrt(3) x sqrt(-1)sqrt(3) = sqrt(-1)sqrt(-1) x sqrt 3 sqrt 3 = (-1)(3) = -3
Maybe you have not covered imaginary numbers like 'i' = (sqrt(-1) just yet.....
