In an isosceles triangle, the length of one of the two equal sides is 3 less than twice the third side. If the perimeter of the triangle is 19 cms, what is the length of each side?
Hi Mashiro, welcome to the forum, it is nice to meet you. :)

Let the different side be x units long
The equal sides are both 2x-3 units long
The perimeter is 19
so
19= x+ 2x+3 + 2x+3
Can you finish it?
