Potential energy is calculated by the formula mass times acceleration due to gravity times height. We know the potential energy, and we know the height, and gravity it 9.8m/s^2, so when we plug those in, we get 44J=(? mass)x(9.8m/s^2)x(11m). This can be simplified to 44=(?)x(107.8), and all we have to do is divide by 107.8. This gives us a mass of about 0.41 grams, or an exact answer of 44/107.8 grams.

You answer should be in kilograms, NOT in grams.
