so we have 13*8=104 which is the smallest 3 digit multiple of 13 and then we have 13*77 but that is more than 1000 might be what you are thinking but we have a purpose for that ecuase we are doing 77-8=69 so there are 69 multiples of 13 that are 3 digit numbers
