THe weights of the 50 football players are normally distributed with a mean of 178 pounds and a standard deviation of 8 pounds.  What is the probability that a player weighs at most 170 lbs?

I think this is correct

68% of the players fall within one standard deviation.....a player weighing ≤ 170 pounds would lie in the part of the curve to the right of this......so, because of the symmetric nature of the curve, this probability =

[ 100 - 68 ] / 2  =  32 / 2   =   16%
