Does not matter what the previous rolls were (assuming a fair die)    1/6 chance it will roll a 1

I'm not sure… I would think the 6 would be erased and the 1 replaced (hey that rhymes!!!) but I'm still not sure. I'm very young--- 11.

So ...first lets see the outcomes....they are

1 , 2 , 4, 5, 1 ,2 ,4 ,5 ,6

now look at the outcomes.....we need to find the probablity of getting " 1" ....look at the outcomes again....and count how many times " 1 " is occuring....

so 1 is occuring 2 times....so this is how we solve it

Total Outcomes = 9

Favourable Outcomes = 2  (which means that 1 is occuring two times and that is what we need)

P(E) = F.O. / T.O.

P(E) = 2/9

so if we could be able to solve this more...we would but since they are unsolvable...we wont...

so thats your answer!

hope you learnt something!

what your saying doesnt really makes sense Bruce....

In prabability.....we can only find the probability of the occurance of the event based on its earlier outcomes......in this question they asked "whats the probability of getting 1" and in the outcomes....1 was occuring twice.....so its probility would be 2 out of 9.i.e.the total number of outcomes....

i thought you were serious about this question you know,.......
