Suppose that f is a polynomial such that\((x-1)\cdot f(x)=3x^4+x^3 - 25x^2 +38x -17.\)What is the degree of f?

Since f(x) is multiplied by the x   fo  (x-1)   the degree will be raised by ONE.....so f(x) must be of 3rd degree  (it has an x3 term in it)
