a class Volunteered to donate a certain amount of money to charity. if each studentwilldonate 25$ they will gather an amount which is 210$ less the wanted amount of money. if each student will donate 32$ they will gather an amount which is 84$ more than the wanted amount of money. how many students in the class and what is the wanted amount of money they wanted to donate?

We have two unknown variables x=amount of students, y=needed money.

We know x*25+210=y and x*32-84=y, hence x*25+210=x*32-84, solve for x. 

Now x is known we can calculate y with any of the two given formulas.
