=   slope between  ( 7, 1852 )  and  ( 9, 3878 )

=   \(\frac{3878-1852}{9-7}\)

=   \(\frac{2026}2\)

=   1013

 

avg rate of change over interval [4, 6]

=   slope between  ( 4, f(4) )  and  ( 6, f(6) )

=   slope between  ( 4, 358 )  and  ( 6, 1178 )

=   \(\frac{1178-358}{6-4}\)

=   \(\frac{820}2\)

=    410

 

How much greater is  1013  than  410   ?
