I dont know how this is possible to calculate.My lecture didnt explain it in a way i understand. Can someone please lay out the entire eqaution so i know how to calculate in the future? Thanks! :D
I Forgot the attachment. Opps XD
A geometric sequence can be writen as a, ar, ar^2, ar^3, ar^4, ....
a = 3
ar^3 = 1029
(ar^3)/a = r^3
(1029)/3 = r^3
r^3 = 343
r = 7
Plugging a and r back into our a, ar, ar^2, ar^3, ar^4 equation shows that the series is 3, 21, 147, 1029, ....
I hope that helped. :))

Thank you so much!!!! This totoally helped!!
GOOD solution!
