Help plox it's rather simple, but I cannot do it

x/2+x/3=10
1. Find the least common factor between the denominators. The denominators in this one are 2 and 3 so you just multiply them together and you get 6.
2. Now to get that denominator of six you had to multiply the first denominator by 3 because 2x3=6. So you also have to multiply the top by 3 so you get 3x. You do the same exact thing with the next term which is the x/3. You had to multiply the denominator by 2 so you have to multiply the numerator by 2 and you get 2x. When you finish this conversion you get 3x/6 +2x/6=10
3. Now that they're both the same denominator you can add them together. So, 3x+2x/6=10.
4. Now just simplify and solve.
5x/6=10
5x=60
x=12

Walt gave you an excellent answer and i am quite sure that you do understand it.
If it was a straight simplifying question you would definitely do it that way.

Since it is an equation question there is another way that I think is just a little easier.

The lowest common denominator is 6.
So you can just multiply both sieds by 6, like this

6[ x/2 + x/3 ] = 6 * 10
6x/2 + 6x/3 = 60
3x + 2x =60
5x=60
x=12
