im taking a test, and for some reason the only thing in math i dont understand is rotations! whenever i take a lesson for it, it always seems to avoid telling me what equation do i use to solve it! can someone please tell me what equation would i use to find the new coordinates of a 90 degree rotation??

Old coordinates (x, y)

90 degree anti-clockwise rotation.

New coordinates (X, Y) = (-y, x)
