The square shown is divided into 4 congruent rectangles. If the perimeter of the square is 144 units, what is the perimeter of one of the four congruent rectangles?

(Also I have another question that I posted 1 hour ago and no one answered, if you can, please answer that one as well, Thank you!>>> https://web2.0calc.com/questions/surface-area_18)

Since it is a square, all four sides are equal. Since the perimeter of the square is 144, 144/4 = 36 is the side length of one side of the big square. One of the sides is divided into 4 equal parts, so 36/4 = 9. This means one rectangle has a length of 36, and a width of 9.

Perimeter: 36+36+9+9 = 90.
