Log_2(3x)+log_2(2)=4 I simplified it to log_2(3x)=3 but that's it

\(\log_2 (3x) + \log_2 2 = 4 \\ \log_2 (3x) + 1 = 4 \\ \log_2 (3x) = 3 \\ 3x = 9 \\ x = 3\)

Nice work. :))

One small correction, log_2(3x) = 3, turns into 3x = 8, (2^3 = 8)

Good spotting Catmg!  I missed it.

It will help if people always remember that a log is a power!
