1. What is the value of this expression? Do not use negative exponents in your answer.

$${\frac{{{\mathtt{4}}}^{{\mathtt{2}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{{\mathtt{4}}}^{{\mathtt{4}}}}{{{\mathtt{4}}}^{{\mathtt{10}}}}}$$

2. What is the value of  $${\left({{\mathtt{2}}}^{{\mathtt{3}}}\right)}^{{\mathtt{3}}}$$  written as a whole number without an exponent?

1. Add the exponents 2 +4 giving you 4^6. Now, you have 4^6/4^10. You can subtract 10 and 6 leaving you with: 1/4^-4. Since we don't want negative exponents, the answer is 4^4. You can move the denominator to the numerator by changing the exponent's sign.

2. What is 2^3? 2*2*2 = 4*2 = 8...now what's 8^3? 8*8*8 = 64*8 = 512.
