I know a couple

2.  A conditional statement  has the form  :

If A   then B

So

if it s rush hour, then traffic may be heavy       is  the conditional statement

3.

Original statement    If A, then B

Contrapositive   "switch" A and B   and negate both

So

Original statement :  if you send me an email today, then I will send you an email tommorow.

Contrapositive : if i dont send you an email tommorow, then you will not send me an email today

1. Which statement about the following argument is true?

If an animal is a koala, then it must be a marsupial. That animal is a marsupial. Therefore, it is a koala.

This is not a valid argument

An animal may be a marsupial.....but not necessarily be a koala...
