What is the approximate solution to the equation 2^t=38 ?
Please and thank you! Happy early merry Christmas, by the way. Christmas break is soon, woo. 0^>
2^t = 38 take the log of both sides
log 2^t = log 38 and we can write
t * log 2 = log 38 divide both sides by log 2
t = log (38) / log(2) ≈ 5.2479
Note, Phoenix.....this implies that any exponential equation in the form a^t = b will have the solution of log b / log a .....!!!!
