In trapezoid $EFGH,$ $\overline{EF} \parallel \overline{GH},$ and $P$ is the midpoint of side $\overline{EH}$. If the area of triangle $PEF$ is $8$, and the area of triangle $PGH$ is $21$, then find the area of trapezoid $EFGH$.

area of ΔPEF + area of ΔPGH = area of ΔPFG

 

Area of trapezoid EFGH = (8 + 21) * 2 = 58 u²  smiley
