This question has been reworked (after Alan's detective work)

If you are just slack I probably should not have done this for you.

I probably should have found the height to another decimal place.

I think you should probably have tan(67.5) = h/8.5 Melody!

Thanks you Alan.

Thank you for your help, on a side note, do any of you have a good site that you could recommend where I could learn for myself how to do problems I have trouble with, that being said I'm glad I cam across this site since it has been help.

Also I don't slack all the time, just sometimes.

Thank you for acknowledging our efforts.

There are lots of good sites. When we are helping people we often go looking ourselves and supply web addresses to people.
mathsisfun is a site that we refer people to very often. It has lots of great units.
purplemaths is another that I think i have seen people be referred to - although I am less familiar with it myself.
There are a lot of good youtube clips that cover a multitude of topics. I often use them for my own learning.

Also,
If you use this site and you want a particular type of help just state that in your question.
Like you could have said " I need to find the area of a regular octogon..... Please give me a hint on how to get started. I am not looking for the answer yet."

If you join up you will get preferential treatment so then there can be a much faster turn around between responses and we can help you to learn more effectively.
I think you need a more positive username though... like... hardwork=success. Or just your name if you prefer.

Melody.
