1) Square ABCD and rectangle ACEG have the same area. Find the ratio AC:CE.

I got 2sqrt5/5 but it was incorrect.

2) A large square is divided into 4 small congruent rectangles and a small square as shown. The areas of the large and small squares are 25 and 7, respectively. What is the length of a diagonal of a small rectangle?

I suck at geo, but i'll try this anyway.

Call AD y and DC z. Then AC = sqrt(y^2+z^2). We also know that yz = GE * CE. CE, by our equation, is equal to yz/GE. Therefore, our answer should be (sqrt(y^2+z^2))/(yz/GE). I'll leave you to simplify that.

Hope this helped!

Ok my last two posts are flagged for moderation because they both said I s_ ck at geo with the blank space as a u. I didn't mean to offend, am I in trouble?

You are not in trouble. The blanking happens automatically.

But you are best to avoid such words.
