There are questions that take time maybe because nobody was online when you posted the questions. Regardless you posted the same question twice in a 35 minute time frame. 

 

 

Apart from that, guest is right. This problem would have no solution.

The only way this will work is

x/12 - 3 = -3     meaning   x= 0

 

12/x - 3 = -3   would require x = 0 in the denominator.....---------->>>>>>    Not allowed   Undefined!

It doesn't matter whose answer was better, as long as you got the solution to your problem. I don't care which solution helped you more, I'm just glad if you understood the problem.

Okay. It's late at night, I don't want to have to argue about this. We got you your answer, and I get that you got upset because me somehow advising you not to post the same question twice when we can see both of them on the same page got you into a rampage.
