At a comic book convention vendor 1 was selling a set of 4 comics for $25.72. Vendor 2 was selling a set of 3 comics for $19.14 Which Vendor has the higher unit price?

Vendor 1: 

Unit price =  \(\frac{Total Price}{Total Units} = \frac{25.72}{4} = 6.43 $\)

 

Vendor 2:

Unit price =  \(\frac{Total Price}{Total Units} = \frac{19.14}{3} = 6.38$\)

 

\(6.38$ < 6.43$\)

 

Therefore, Vendor 1 has the higher unit price
