I tried to answer the first one but I don't think that I have the right answer. I'm not sure about the other ones. Please show how to answer these. Thank you!

First one :  Good job  !!!!!

Second

x^3 - 10x^2 + 24x

y intercept  - easy - let x = 0    so  y = 0

zeroes...... factor

x ( x^2 - 10x + 24) = 0

x (x - 12) ( x + 2)  = 0

Set each factor to 0 and solve for x and we get that    x = 0 , x = 12  and x = 2

Hello there bro let me help you out,

I will do a problem for ou so you can figure it out!

As we can see we have f(x)=1/2 square root x-3

first thing that we need to do is find the zeros, which ill give you a hint, we have only 1 and it is displayed in the question.

that answer is the x-3 but the zero isnt -3 because we have to flip the sign which gives you 3 as your zero

now for the y intercept it isnt as simple

In fact I couldnt really find a Y intercept myself so I would have to say that there is either no Y intercept or that the intercept is 0.5

To help out Love2Read...there is no y intercept for the last one

The y intercept would occur where x = 0

But letting x =0  means a negative under the radical which can't result in a real number  !!!

4x^4  - 17x^2 + 4

y intercept...let x = 0  so.....y = 4

zeroes

(4x^2 - 1) (x^2 - 4)  = 0

(2x + 1) ( 2x - 1) ( x + 2) ( x - 2)  = 0

Set each factor to 0  and solve for x and we have that :

x = -1/2      x  = 1/2      x =  - 2      x = 2
