A certain strain of bacteria is growing at a rate of 73% per hour, and with 5,000 bacteria initially, this event can be modeled by the equation B(t) = 5,000(1.73)t. With this fast growth rate, scientists want to know what the equivalent growth rate is per minute. Using rational exponents, what is an equivalent expression for this bacterial growth, expressed as a growth rate per minute?

I'd go with C also is 't' is in minutes.       As a check, substitute t= 60 min (one hour)to see if it equals the original equation     1.0092^60 = 1.73    OK   

Incidentally IF equation A was written as  5000(1.73)^(t/60)   it would be the same...
