2x-7 <= 3x+10     subtract 2x from both sides

-7 <= x +10          subtract 10 from each side

-17 <= x           or    x >= -17

That is OK......but you have to go a bit further to solve for 'x'

2x-7 <= 3x+10      subtract 3x from both sides

-x <= 17                  NOW you have to MULTIPLY by -1     this reverses the < sign

x>= -17         Same answer......

If \(2x-7 \leq 3x+10\), then we can subtract 10 to both sides. Then, subtract 2x from both sides. You will get that \(x\geq -17\), which is your solution.
