What is MAD? I need to know quick, please.
median absolute deviation is a robust measure of the variability of a univariate sample of quantitative data. It can also refer to the population parameter that is estimated by the MAD calculated from a sample.
Some sites say it is the median diabsolute deviation and others say it is the mean absolute deviation.
I would have gone for the mean myself!
This video explains how to find it.
