I have a question on my homework that I don't get.

Why can't a pair of obtuse angles be vertical angles?

I just know them as vertical angles.....but I don't know...perhaps they are termed differently in other places......

They can be !!!

Notice the pic......

Notice that CEB and AED are vertical angles and are both obtuse (> 90 degrees)

I have always called those vertically opposite angles.

is that just as Australian thing?
