On average, how many people are in each multiple-person household?

5000 households have average of 2.26 people in total there re  5000*2.26= 11300 people

11300-1400= 9900 people in multiperson households

5000-1400 = 3600 multiperson households

so

9900/3600 = 2.75

So there are an average of 2.75 people in the multiperson households   laugh
