7 / 10 = T / 50, solve for T

T = 35 trucks (lorries?)

 

Since the ratio of cars to trucks(lorries) = 10: 1, therefore:

There must be:35 x 10 = 350 cars 0n the road.

10 c / 1 L     x    7 L / 10 v   =  70 c / 10 v   = 7 c / 1 v

 

7 c / 1 v     * 50  = 350 cars
