In the figure, ABC is a right triangle with height AD, resulting in Pythagorean triangles ABD and ACD. If AD=12, what is the length of BC?

If AD is the 4, so then we have side lengths 9, 12, 15.

 

Maybe?

 

5,12,13...

 

Maybe for the ADC...

 

In that case DC is 5... BD is 9...

 

but this is pure guesswork
