15/32  x 100% = ...........% chance of choosing a girl

The Question says that there are 32 people in the class. 15 are girls so the probability would be 15/32.

However, it is asking in percentage so we do:

 

15/32 x 100 = 46.87%

 

So the answer is 46.87

apparently, all of the other people are wrong. :o

 

15/32 are girls

 

so convert that into a decimal = 0.46875

 

when we want to convert this into a percent, move the decimal point two units to the right = 46.875 = 46.88%
