So....we need 12 / (1/2) = 24 tablespoons
But.....there are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon....so....we need 24 x 3 = 72 teaspoons
We have 1212=24 times the amount of butter, so the required number of tablespoons is 24⋅3=72.
