hi, how to calculate hours, minutes, seconds? let's say 1:32:20 plus 1:44:30 thanks

you can write everything in seconds as well.

1h=60*60sek=3600sek

1min=60sek

so 1:32:20=1*3600+32*60+20=5540sek

1:44:30=1*3600+44*60+30=6270sek

in total 5540+6270=11810sek

then you go backwars and figure out how many whole ours you got and then minutes and the seconds.

you can also switch the numbers into sexagesimal numbers but that seems a bit overkill in this case.

Try this:

first you add the hours. ---> 1+1=2

now add the minutes ---> 32+44=76 min (60 min in one hour gives us 76= 1hour +16 min)

now we can add the seconds---> 30+20=50 (not a whole minute)

in total: 2h+1h+16min+50 sek

3:16:50
