Find the equation of a line that has no slope and passes through the point (-2, 0).

Is it?

x = -2

y = -2

x = 0

y = 0

I'm guessing -2 from my previous experience of one problem. Yes, my teacher only gave me one of these problems ever. That's what I'm going off.

Slop is  rise/run     for zero slope the numerator must = 0

  a line with no rise is a horizontal line

y=-2    does not go through the point given,           y=0

Thank you. So then it would be y = -2 correct? I'm trying to visualize it. Because the line only passes through the y-axis once through -2?

y=-2    does not go through the point given,

y=0    does go through   -2,0
