Equation representing

Van Costs

y = 3,240x + 12,275

Equation representing

Car Costs

y = 2,450x + 13,540

The table gives equations which represent the costs involved with buying and maintaining two used vehicles.

Using the equation or the graph, about how much is the cost of the van increasing per year?

over $3,000

about $2,000

about $1,500

about $1,000

I chose $3,000 because i estimated that two of the points were at 2,800 and 2,500, then subtraced and found 3,000 but idk if i really did this rght.Thank you so much in advance!

It would just be the slope of the line for the van  3240      every increase of one for x , costs equation increases  3240
