Hi ive been trying to figure this out for a while can someone lead me in the right direction.

Rectangle

Width = w

Length = w + 5

The area of a rectangle is width*length. 

 

 

Trangle

short leg = w

long leg = 2(w+5)

The area of a right triangle is leg*otherLeg/2. 

 

Can you take it from here?
