Hi Melody need some help with this problem√112*√175=

√112*√175=

$$\sqrt{4*4*7}*\sqrt{25*6}\\\\
=4\sqrt7\;*5\sqrt6\\\\
=20\sqrt{42}$$

Do you need to do this manually? Surds would be the way to go. There is some good info on Maths portal, Kahn Acadamy and Mathsisfun. Good luck ;) 

The answer by calculator is Sqrt(112)*Sqrt(175)=140. I used the calculator on this site (on the home page) and input the information as typed here. Note: Sqrt is the symbol.
