Triangle  ABC is similar to triangle EDC

 

Let CD  = x  

Let BC  = 24 - x

 

And we have that

 

DC / BC =  AC / EC

 

You should be able to solve it now

Ty for giving hints only, I swear to god, last time it seemed that only blackjacked could read. Oh mannnnnnn Some of my friends, athey don't know like the last question and just search for answers. like i get it's the last question and Yall like took an hour but still haven't gotten it and all would be frustrating but, GOD DARN DO NOT ASK FOR ANSWERS. I have respect for you Answerscorrectly. 

It's easy just to copy off answers here. I know I sound like a teacher right now, but seeing how I KNOW most users are here just to see answers, I deeply respect you asking for hints rather than going for the easy way. 

Hats off to you! :)

 

Also, good luck in that C and P course. I took that 2 years ago. 

All I have to say is...ummm....it....umnmm....I struggled, but I learned a lot.

Agreeable. sometimes the questions legit take me like 1-3 hours. (aka Like more than 20 entries for the answer in which are wrong) other times it takes me like 5-6 minutes. so I really don't know if I've got a hang of C and P yet or not 😂😂😂
