Doubling every year is 2 x 2 x 2 ... (depending upon the numberof years) = 2^y
s = 20000·2^y
Check this out: when y = 1, s = 20000·2^1 = 40000 That's doubled, so that's right.
y = 2, s = 20000·2^2 = 80000 That's doubled again, so that's right.
Seems right.
