inverse tan is the same a arc tan
tan−1(ratio)=atan(ratio)
now that you know this you should be able to use the calc like any hand held one.
You can use the 2nd button to bring up the inverse function or you can just hold the tan key down a little longer than usual and it will convert to the inverse function.
