how do I find the inverse of a function? 

F(x)= 2x+3/5x-2

In order to find the inverse, you need to exchange the x and y.

 

In this case, write F(x) as y and all the other x's as y.

x= 2y+3/5y-2

 

Then you isolate y.

After you've isolated y, you write it as F-1(x), which is the inverse...
