How do I put an equation in the exponent spot?
This is my Equation- A=500(1+.04/24)24*6

Just type this:
500(1+.04/24)^(24*6)

This is compounding interest formula. A=500(1+.04/24)24*6
But, why are you dividing the interest (4%) by 24? What does 24 represent?
