How do you figure out what percent a number is out of a whole? If I need to be more specific, here is an example. 3,200,000 is what percent of 8,000,000?
+128473 Just divide 3,2000,000 by 8,000,000
So we have
3,200,000 / 8,000,000 =
32 / 80 =
2/5 = .40 move the decimal point two places to the right and write a percent sign =
40%
+1491 Just divide 8 million by 3.2 million.
Afterwards multiply your quotient by 100 and slap that percentage sign next to it.
Bam. You've got that percent.
