How do you find the area of a parallelogram

Multiply the base of the parallelogram and the height to find the area.

$${\mathtt{A}} = {\mathtt{bh}}$$

Base is the length of one side (the opposite sides of a parallelogram have the same length.)

Height is the distance of the perpendicular segment between the two opposite bases, not the slanted line.

If you only have the length of the bases, you would need more information in order to find the area.
